Check a public Pinterest Pin link and see whether download options are available. The page is built to stay simple on desktop, tablet and mobile.
Example: pinterest.com/pin/123456789… or pin.it/ABC123 · Public Pins only
Save a public Pinterest video to your device without installing an app.
Open the Pin in Pinterest, use the share icon and copy its link. Regional domains such as in.pinterest.com work too.
Paste the link into the field above and press Check link to validate the address.
If download processing is available for that Pin, pick one of the real options the tool shows.
The same tool works in any modern browser. Here is what to expect on each device.
One Pinterest tool for every public video format on the platform.
Standard Pins whose main media is a video file.
Multi-page Idea Pins are detected so you know what the link holds.
Share links from the mobile app are resolved first.
Country domains such as in.pinterest.com are recognised.
pin.it addresses are expanded before anything else happens.
The tool tells you when a Pin is an image rather than a video.
Your account details are never requested at any point.
Runs entirely in a modern browser on any operating system.
Comfortable to use on a phone, which is where most Pins are shared.
Secret boards stay secret. We do not touch private content.
This page helps you check links to public Pinterest Pins and understand what the next step is. Pins can hold several media types — video, static images, GIFs and multi-page Idea Pins — so not every Pin has a downloadable video source behind it.
You can enter a standard Pin URL or a pin.it short share link. Whether a specific Pin can be processed depends on the content type, its visibility and the service integration behind the page.
Full Pin URLs look like pinterest.com/pin/123456789012345678. The mobile app's Share sheet usually produces a much shorter pin.it link, and regional domains such as pinterest.co.uk or in.pinterest.com are common too.
All of these shapes are recognised here, and short links are resolved to their full address before the check runs.
Only save or reuse content you own, have permission to download, or are otherwise legally allowed to use. Public visibility on a Pin board does not automatically grant you permission to republish a creator's work.
Pinterest is largely built on sharing other people's work, so an extra moment of care matters here: check where a Pin originally came from before you reuse it anywhere.
Copy a Pin's share link, paste it into the input and press Check link. The page validates the URL and shows the options available.
Yes. pin.it addresses are recognised and resolved to the full Pin URL before the check runs.
The Pin may hold an image rather than a video, may have been removed, or may sit on a board that is no longer public.
No. Secret boards and private Pins are out of scope, and no bypass is offered.
Yes. Most Pins are shared from phones, so the layout is built mobile-first.
Idea Pins are multi-page formats. The tool detects them and tells you what the link actually contains.
Only when you own the content or have permission. Pins frequently reuse other people's work, so check the original source first.
One tool for every platform you use.
Paste your Pinterest link, check what is available, and keep the videos you are allowed to keep.
